provides a unique opportunity for up to eight actors each year to
participate in our full theatrical season of plays, complemented by
classes and workshops with company members and guest artists. Acting

APPRENTICES: ACTING AND TECH - Williamstown Theatre Festival,
Williamstown, MA, the highly respected summer regional theatre, is
seeking applicants for the Apprentice Workshop 2001 summer season.
Apprentices take classes in acting and attend seminars taught by theatre
and film industry professionals. Apprentices also work on the day-to-day
operations of the Festival, assisting in various technical and
administrative areas and serving as running crews for the productions.
Apprentices will also have the opportunity to audition for Festival
productions and produce their own projects. This is an intensive summer

Fellow for their 2001-2002 season. Duties may include assistant
directing; casting and directing understudies and extras; note-taking;

personal assistant; and assisting the Literary Manager/Dramaturg with

COMPANY MANAGEMENT INTERNS - For North Shore Music Theatre, an 1800-seat
arena theatre 1/2 hour north of Boston. Year-round season of
Shakespeare, full-scale musicals and celebrity concerts. Seeking
energetic, enthusiastic individuals with good people skills. Intern
duties include assisting Company Manager with event planning, driving
actors and concert personnel, shopping, and various hospitality jobs.
Must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license. NMST internships are

Dance has an internship in costume design for its 2001-2002 season.
Applicants should have skills in basic design, patterning, cutting and
stitching. While the intern is a contributing member of the department's
costume shop staff, we will also offer opportunities for portfolio
development and the strengthening of skills in costume design and
construction under the guidance of our professional staff. Some design
