Creative Glass Center of America - We are proud to announce 12 fellowships available for 2003. The CGCA Fellowship program provides artists with the opportunity for 24-hour hot glass studio access, free housing and a monthly stipend. L.A. Intensive - The American Pavilion, home base for everyone and everything show business at The Cannes International Film Festival has announced the dates of their Los Angeles based program, L.A. Liberty Hill Foundation - Founded in 1976, the Liberty Hill Foundation makes grants to support grassroots community organizations in Los Angeles County that empower people and challenge the policies, institutions and attitudes fostering inequality. The Lesbian & Gay Community Fund provides grants ranging in size from $5000 to $15,000 to new or on-going projects/organizations. Groups can apply for general support or project-specific funding. Priority is given to groups that have little access to other funding sources. The Deadline is: February 1, 2002. The National Association of Hispanic Journalists - The National Association of Hispanic Journalists has various programs ranging from internships to scholarships. The 2002 scholarship application is now available. All entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2002. http://www.nahj.org/

Oregon College of Art & Craft - The Junior Residency is a fellowship program designed to encourage outstanding emerging artists to pursue a focused project in a stimulating art environment. The College offers residencies that rotate through each of the studios: book arts, ceramics, drawing, fibers, metals, photography and wood. Residents receive housing on campus; a $1,200 fellowship; plus up to $500 reimbursement for travel to and from the College; up to $500 for materials, and up to $100 for shipping their completed work. Artist working in drawing or wood will be considered in the fall. Artists working in metal-smithing/jewelry or photography are encouraged to apply for the spring residency. U.S. nationals or permanent residents only. The College defines an emerging artists as post-graduates with less than five years experience as an exhibiting artist. http://www.ocac.edu/

The Winterthur Program in Early American Culture - Application for the program and a Winterthur Fellowship can be made only through the Winterthur Program Office. All application materials must be received by January 15 of the year for which admission is desired. Applications must include transcripts, letters of recommendation, a writing sample and GRE scores. New Voices fellowships - The New Voices National Fellowship Program offers exciting leadership and employment opportunities to college and university graduates and others interested in pursuing a career dedicated to social justice. The Millay Colony for the Arts - providing one month residencies to talented writers, composers and visual artists so that they can create new art that we will all enjoy. Directors Guild - Producer Training Plan. The application period for the Class of 2002 is now open.The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and the Directors Guild of America (DGA) enter the 21st Century as partners in the creation and operation of the most successful training program in the entertainment industry: the Assistant Directors Training Program (ADTP). Beginning in 1965, the ADTP has graduated almost 500 diverse individuals, the majority of whom enjoy successful careers as Assistant Directors, Production Managers, Directors, Producers, and Studio Executives. http://www.dgptp.org

The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation (WWNFF), an independent, nonprofit organization, attempts to maximize human potential through education. The Foundation seeks to sponsor excellence in education and thus develop a new generation of leaders. The Gunk Foundation. At the present, the Foundation is concentrating on supporting two types of projects--public arts projects (funded through The Gunk Foundation) and scholarly/artistic publications (through Critical Press, the publishing arm of the Foundation.) Tennessee Arts Commission. The Tennessee Arts Commission's Fiscal Year 2002 guidelines and application forms are now available on their website: www.arts.state.tn.us. The guidelines include a description of all the grant programs offered by the TAC. James Madison Teaching Fellowships. Through a national competition, the Foundation offers James Madison Fellowships to a select group of individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution. http://www.jamesmadison.com

The American-Scandinavian Foundation. The ASF's award program for study and research abroad has been the Foundation's most long-standing commitment. During the past 88 years, over 3,400 fellowships and grants have been given to Americans and Scandinavians engaged in educational exchange projects. The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation. The Orchestra Management Fellowship Program - is a year-long management training program intended for a limited number of highly qualified individuals who aspire to be executive directors of American orchestras. Artists Fellowship Program - The Artists Fellowship Program was established by the California Arts Council in 1987 to support the significant contributions made by California's artists. The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships For New Americans - The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans supports thirty individuals a year for up to two years of graduate study in any subject anywhere in the United States. Students already in graduate study are eligible, though not past their second year. Candidates must be either holders of Green Cards, naturalized citizens, or children of two naturalized citizen parents. http://www.pdsoros.org

Djerassi Resident Artists Program - The mission of the Djerassi Resident Artists Program is to support and enhance the creativity of artists by providing uninterrupted time for work, reflection, and collegial interaction in a setting of great natural beauty, and to preserve the land on which the Program is situated. http://www.djerassi.org

Fund for Jewish Documentary Filmmaking - The Fund for Jewish Documentary Filmmaking, currently in its fifth year, was developed with a lead grant of $650,000 from the Righteous Persons Foundation established by Steven Spielberg.
